Could you imagine Harrison Ford as Mr Fantastic? How about Terry Crews as The Thing? Dacre Montgomery as Johnny Storm? Emily Blunt as Sue Storm? Well, join in the conversation down below as we toss, turn and experiment with these castings for the Fantastic four, Then and Now.

If you’re a fan of Marvel’s family first superhero team, then you’ll probably have watched the Fantastic 4 with Chris Evans back in 2005 and 2015. But what if there was another film back in the 90s? Who would be cast then? And we’re not talking about the unreleased B-movie, NO! We’re talking about the potential Marvel casting of the future and a fan casting of the past. Sure we’ve got John Krasinski as fan favourite for Reed Richards, John David Washington expressing interest in the role and actors like Javier Bardem who would kill it as the leading villain. But what about a 90s cast line up? Would Rob Lowe make a good human torch? Embeth Davidtz an Invisible Woman? Ron Pearlman or Michael Clarke Duncan as the Thing?

I think we all want some of our favourite actors to play our favourite superheroes, even if they completely don’t fit the part.
But in this case, we’ve taken into account their history, talent and whether they would be open to the role.
Get ready to type your rage into the comments with our picks on who would be cast as the Fantastic 4, Dr Doom and the Silver Surfer in the 1990s and now (2020s).
