Welcome back, ScreenRanters! We’ve returned once more to pretend we have a load of cash and power in Hollywood. We’re going to do some more fan casting! This time, we’re looking at the 2000’s X-Men Fox film. We’ve selected a number of the key characters and we’re going to recast the parts with actors from the 1970s and today! But during the today cast, we’re not including any performers that are currently tied up in a Marvel related film. Just to make it trickier for ourselves. We love doing that.
Now for the spoiler paragraph. If you like surprises, we suggest you stop reading and watch the video multiple times. Firstly, we’ll look at the 70s squad. Who will replace Hugh Jackman as Wolverine? Could it be Clint Eastwood? Maybe! We also have roles for two performers in The Godfather trilogy. There’s a particular role we have in mind for Diana Ross. Yes, the singer. There’s also a role for an alumnus of the MCU. Plus, some surprises. Then for the present-day squad, we’ll see who’ll replace Sir Ian McKellen as Magneto. It might be Christoph Waltz! Or not. Then, we have a really well-suited role for Jensen Ackles. We’ve added to our line up an actor that was recently announced for the Resident Evil reboot! We have the House icon, Hugh Laurie, portraying a certain psychic character. There’s Bryce Dallas Howard taking on a particular redheaded character. Bet you can’t guess who that is! Then there’s a current Star Trek figurehead becoming our Storm. Plus, we have more surprises!
