Rick & Morty: Character Changes From Season 1 To Now
Description
In A Meaningless Multiverse, Do We Ever Really Evolve?
In Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland’s critically acclaimed sci-fi comedy cartoon on Adult Swim, the fictional denizens are definitely not quite the same in Season 5 as they were when the show began. Inevitably, there will be a number of alterations in the ways they behave and approach the world. The main protagonist, his anxious sidekick, Summer and Jerry and Beth - every one of them has experienced some pretty crazy stuff at this point. That’s bound to have an effect.
So in what manner has each character changed? From the Mr Meeseeks episode to Tammy and Birdperson, from Snowballs the robot dog through Mr Poopybutthole, Shrimply Pibbles, all the different Interdimensional Cable channels, alien empires, clones, Keith David as the President of the USA, living sperm monsters, horse people, the Council of Ricks, the vat of acid, the Cronenbergs, Gazorpazorp - wubalubadubdub, there have been a lot of scrapes! Burp!
But in a space-time continuum where everything is infinite, portal guns exist and death is always round the corner, what does continuity really mean? Can personal growth truly happen? How has the cast changed? How have the grouchy scientist and his horny male grandchild been made different?
In this video, Screen Rant will be donning some form of power armor - or perhaps the giant robots from ‘Gotron Jerrysis Rickvangelion’, diving straight into the chaos and showing the giant floating judging heads what we got. Or maybe let’s all just turn into a pickle instead of having therapy!
