Shang-Chi: Everything They Changed From The Comics
Description
The MCU’s resident martial artist has finally hit the silver screen and as his first foray into film is way better than the unfortunate mess that was Iron Fist, it’ll be the start of a potential new trilogy. So let’s look at some of the things that didn’t make the jump from the page to the movie. Most of his introduction makes the leap though, things like him being a martial arts master, having a very tenuous relationship with his father and also having a tenuous relationship with his sister. Well one of his sisters at least, don’t worry it’s talked about in the video and way more convoluted than it needs to be. Other things though, don’t make the cut or were altered like characters being combinations of other characters, at least twice, the beginnings of his heritage and his connection to the greater Marvel universe but considering this is his first story, that can’t really be expected.
Let us know what your favorite thing about the movie was or what your favorite change was. Do you think that the leader of the Ten Rings should’ve also been the father of the main character or do you think it would’ve worked better with his printed counterpart? Drop your ideas in the comment section below and don’t forget to like and subscribe for more videos on the MCU martial artist coming in the future. Maybe they’ll even change the mantle of the Iron Fist from Danny Rand or at the very least, they could fight over it. Really I just want some more martial art goodness.
