For a show that’s been on the air for thirty years, the Simpsons haven’t aged a day. We all wish we could live in a place as exciting as Springfield, but it’s nice to have over three decades of stories to live vicariously through Bart, Homer, Marge, Lisa, Maggie, Grampa, Moe, Barney, Ned, Milhouse, Apu, Krusty, Chief Wiggum, Mr. Burns, Smithers, Principal Skinner, Edna Krabappel, Groundskeeper Willie, Lenny, Karl, Dr. Hibbert, Mayor Quimby, Reverend Lovejoy, Sideshow Bob, and countless others.

Many events have shaped the people of Springfield, but it’s usually the big episodes and major storylines that come to mind. Sure, most episodes are classics - especially in those early seasons - yet who could forget the times that our favorite characters donned costumes to hide from law, masked their identities, went undercover or faced off against creepy doppelgängers?

This massive cast of big personalities can rival the rogues galleries of some of our favorite superheroes. And that’s why ScreenRant is going through the 20 greatest Simpsons’ alter egos to ever grace our TV screens. We’ll be meeting Bartman, Guy Incognito, El Homo, Pie Man, the Thompsons, Max Power, Clobber Girl, Armin Tamzarian, the Collector, Jose Flanders, Fruit Bat Man, Lester and Eliza, Rory Bellows, Hans Sprungfeld, Jake Boyman, Worker and Parasite, Nicky Bluepants Altosaxophony, and - of course - Duffman. Matt Groening and his team of writers have given us years of material to comb through, but we’ve assembled this Justice League of cartoon comedy. It’s all here, on ScreenRant!
