There are no shortage of films out there involving the Dark Knight, but we can’t help but be excited about the upcoming flick “The Batman.” Co-writer Mattson Tomlin made an intriguing statement regarding the fact that this hero will be a more emotional version of the character than we’ve seen on the big screen in the past. Some fans believe it will be based on the famous storyline “The Long Halloween” and this could tie in with exploring the idea of Bruce Wayne’s trauma surrounding the loss of his father Thomas Wayne and mother Martha Wayne. Actor Jeffrey Wright who plays Commissioner Gordon claims this fictional film will be surprisingly relatable while Robert Pattinson believes Batman isn’t really a hero at all. . . While it won’t focus on the origin story of this famous character, it might incorporate how this event impacted this character’s life and helped kick off his superhero career. Director Matthew Reeves says this will give us a look at a relatively inexperienced version of the character who may rely on his detective skills more than just his fancy gadgets.
