Even though the show ended in 2019, The Big Bang Theory is still considered one of the most popular sitcoms on TV. The antics between Leonard, Sheldon, Penny, Howard, and Raj never failing to make people laugh. And, with Young Sheldon offering us a look into what the characters were up to after we last saw them eating take-out around the apartment, it’s hard to not want to look back on the adventures of the group.

With 12 seasons worth of episodes to look back on, it’s easy to see that there’s a lot that changed from the pilot to the series finale The Stockholm Syndrome. And well not everything went the way that the characters imagined, or even hoped, that they would, there was a lot set up in the first season that was eventually paid off. From countless break-ups, laughs, weddings, and tears, the awkward nerds seen geeking out over Dungeons and Dragons, Marvel, and DC managed to grow and find the happy endings that they wanted in season one. Be it career advancements, awards, relationships, or something as small as getting over social anxiety to be able to talk to women, the original five managed to come a long way.
