One of the biggest cliches in Hollywood is being "The Chosen One". Being the chosen one isn't always the best but being the chosen one has different meanings for different movies. The main character is usually special or unique, except in the Lego Movie that subverts this idea and makes everyone special. Animated children films are especially known for this, remember Kung Fu Panda?

The Chosen One has also be the cause of many debates. For example, Star Wars makes us all question who is the real Chosen One.. which side do you land on? Is Anakin Skywalker the true chosen one?
