Movies can be a great way to provide a dramatic retelling of real events and bring these amazing historical stories back to life. But sometimes they can play somewhat fast and loose with the details, brushing aside actual historical fact for more entertaining creative flair. This means that they can really blur the line with what is true and what is not, giving us false information and making us believe something that is in actuality completely inaccurate.

In this video we will take a look at some of the biggest and best movies based on true events that are shockingly inaccurate. This will include movies leaving big pieces of information out, making up romances that never actually happened and just completely making up new characters. These are some of the most popular movies that you may not have known were feeding you false information. So prepare to get out your history books and look back through some of the best true non-true movies around!

What was your most shocking inaccurate movie? Were there any you missed? Is there a historical/true event you wished they made a movie about? Let us know in the comments below and make sure to follow us on social media and to subscribe to the channel for this and more interesting content!
