The Luca + Monsters Inc Crossover You Totally Missed

Luca joins a number of amazing Pixar movies, with the sweet coming of age tale another classic Pixar flick. Packed full of humor, emotion, family ties, and funny cats, Luca has a lot of things in common with a number of movies under the Pixar umbrella. But there is one movie that Luca shares more in common with than most - Monsters, Inc. If you have watched both Luca and Monsters, Inc you may have struggled to catch the link, but after some deep diving into the depths of Luca and the Italian Riviera, we found evidence that directly links the two together….well sort of…maybe connects the two if our theory actually pays off. That theory of course is that the Sea Monsters we see in Luca are actually monsters from Monsters, Inc that are living in exile.

In this video we are going to open the bedroom door and enter through to the land of Pixar, before diving deep into a hidden connected universe. We will go through a popular fan theory that every single Pixar movie is actually connected and there is an overarching plot starting all the way back at The Good Dinosaur, through Toy Story and onto the likes of Brave and Monsters, Inc. We will also present some evidence from both Monsters, Inc and Luca that suggest that the two movies are actually connected (with the use of some cold hard facts) and delve into whether or not the theory is actually plausible or not. Spoilers - we think it is!!!
