The wait is over! The Mandalorian is back with a series premiere that was more explosive than Alderaan after being blown up by the Death Star. But in an episode that included awesome action scenes, Tusken Raiders, cute Baby Yoda moments, easter eggs and hidden cameos and Timothy Olyphant’s hair, one moment stood out more than the rest. The scene in questions comes at the very end of the episode when we see *SPOILERS* the return of New Zealand actor Temuera Morrison to the Star Wars franchise in the guise of a mystery character. The actor who initially played bounty hunter and clone prototype, Jango Fett, in Attack of the Clones before being killed by Mace Windu, made many fans, ourselves included, gasp to see his face at the end of the episode. Seeing as Jango is dead, it is likely he is playing someone else- but who? And what does this mean for the season in general? Well, we have some theories about that.
In this video we will take a look at two theories- one more likely and one which is slightly more of an outlier as to who Morrison is playing and how his introduction will propel the story going forward. Including reprising a fan favorite character (but not the one you think), leading Mando and The Child to a new Mandalorian character as well as providing the possibility of a truly epic fight scene- this is what Morrison’s return means to the world of Star Wars!
