The Matrix Resurrections: Behind The Scenes Secrets

Today one of the richest men in the world freely speculates that we are in fact living in a computer simulation and that if it were true we’d never be able to tell the difference. How did we get here, where billionaire techies can casually toss around the idea that we’re all living in a simulation on some massive computer? Phillip K Dick floated the idea at a science fiction convention in 1977 but it was a ground breaking franchise by a pair of relatively unknown pair of siblings and an actor best known for his spacey delivery of the word “Whoah.” The Wachowskis along with Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss redefined cool and how people interacted with the idea of reality in a series that also evolved the look of movies and how they were made. Eighteen years later and franchises and reboots rule the box office but the Wachowskis have stalwartly refused to return to the franchise that made them household names. Until finally Warner Brothers convinced Lana Wachowski to return to the series, turning it into a not so subtle rebuke of the idea of recycling intellectual property in an effort to milk the money cow one more time. The original trilogy contained groundbreaking filming techniques like Bullet Time, so what has Lana Wachowski brought to the new movie?
