James Gunn's "The Suicide Squad" is one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2021, and not just because Gunn is a visionary director, as evidenced by his hugely successful "Guardians of the Galaxy" movies for Marvel. A big reason DC fans are pumped for "The Suicide Squad" is because David Ayer's 2016 take on these characters, "Suicide Squad," was so disappointing. Fans and critics alike weren't too thrilled with Jared Leto's version of The Joker in that film, especially, which raises a big question: Why isn't Leto getting a "do-over" in the 2021 "Squad"?
