The Surprisingly Funny Riddler Scene That Had The Batman Fans Rolling

Paul Dano's Riddler in "The Batman" is a genuinely scary dude. Inspired more by David Fincher's "Mindhunter," "Se7en," and "Zodiac" than the over-the-top silliness of the Riddlers that came before him, Dano's take on the iconic character is unsettling throughout, with one notable exception. In bringing the Riddler's brand of psychological terror to the 21st century, director Matt Reeves gave the villain an online presence, and with it, some YouTube and Twitch streamer silliness. It's not enough to defuse the creepiness Dano brings to the role, but it sure is a hoot. This is the surprisingly funny Riddler scene that had "The Batman" fans rolling.
