Premiering in 2018, the medical drama New Amsterdam has proven to be a hit for NBC. Based on the book Twelve Patients: Life and Death at Bellevue Hospital by Eric Manheimer, New Amsterdam is currently on its third season, but there's one cast member fans won't be seeing moving forward.
