Soul looks like another huge hit for Pixar. In other obvious news, water is wet! Even though its release was a little different than usual, Disney+ audiences everywhere got to experience the film this holiday season and it’s been met with near universal acclaim.

And that’s not surprising. Have you seen how beautiful the movie looks? The animation is top-notch and the story the film tries to tell is a poignant one. It follows music teacher Joe, voiced by Jaime Foxx, who mere hours away from the biggest break of his life, dies tragically. Instead of accepting his fate, Joe fights back and remains determined to return to Earth so he doesn’t miss his chance. Along the way, he teams up with a life-hating spirit named 22 and the two form an alliance to get Joe back.

It’s a lot of fun, but it’s really the ending that has a lot of people talking. This film has one of the most unique and heartfelt endings of any Pixar film, but things were almost very different. There were a lot of alternate endings that would’ve completely changed the meaning of the film’s conclusion and probably would’ve made you view the film differently! What were those exactly?
