Description

Thanks to Aaron S for this video.
"For Season 11, two new additions have been made to the main cast: Cooper Andrews (Jerry) and Callan McAuliffe (Alden), who have both been on the show for several seasons now and whom I'd say deserve their spot in the intro!

The intro makes use of the same 'animation' style aesthetic that's been in place since the start of Season 9, but like with Season 10, some visual changes and modifications have been added throughout the opening.

A few of these include the stained glass window panes hanging from the lone tree, which are now damaged & cracked, this also definitely seems to be a recurring theme throughout this season's intro.

The section with the vines & plants rising up around the rake in the skull also sees the addition of more flowers and none other than Dog, who more than deserves a place in the opening!
Just after this section, several new items relating to various characters/groups are embedded in the ground, these being a Commonwealth soldier’s helmet, Aaron’s spiked mace arm, Maggie’s hat and Negan’s crowbar.

The environment/community shots, specifically of the Hilltop, sees changes in the form of the walls and the farmhouse now being damaged and largely destroyed, continuing that theme. As well as this, the ‘Silence the Whispers’ text on the side of the Alexandria windmill has now been changed to ‘Silence the Whispers into Screams’.

The final section of the intro now no longer contains Whisperers, instead more walkers are now featured, and in the distance ahead of the walkers are a group of Commonwealth Soldiers.

The transition into the logo reveals the same 'nature/greenery' look along with running blood, as well as cracks forming and bits of the logo now being chipped away and falling off, further displaying this theme of destruction and decay to symbolise the current situation the group finds themselves in with their communities." - noted by Aaron S
