The WARFARE Cast Created Brotherhood Behind the Scenes | IMDb
Description
#Warfare recreates co-writer/co-director Ray Mendoza's real experience as a Navy SEAL during the Iraq War, so he and co-writer/co-director Alex Garland (Warfare, Ex Machina) put this team of dedicated, young actors through a three-week boot camp to ready them to act like soldiers. D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai plays Mendoza, while #JosephQuinn, Will Poulter, Charles Melton, and #KitConnor all portray real soldiers that were involved in the 2006 Battle of Ramadi. The five actors sit down with IMDb to discuss why they took on the roles, how they fostered a culture of brotherhood behind the scenes, and playing pain on screen.
