Welcome back, ScreenRanters! Actors are no strangers to the desire to getting inked up. In fact, it’s very common for the thespians on screen to be inflected with some permanent ink. They can get them to celebrate a film role. Either one that meant a lot to them, or to celebrate the memories they made while attached to a franchise. Others have even got tattoos for a film role. Today, we’re going to look at some of the actors that got very real tattoos due to their roles on screen. We’re also going to look at one performer and his back tat that confused everyone for years.

Now for the spoiler paragraph. If you like surprises, we suggest you stop reading and watch the video multiple times. Firstly, we’ll look at the Game of Thrones cast that celebrated together. One also got some ink due to the X-Men Fox franchise. Then we have Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming and Tom Holland’s ink. Speaking of the MCU, we have the Avengers cast getting a joint tattoo. We have the Breaking Bad cast getting two different tats inspired from their show. There’s Margot Robbie buying her own tattoo equipment and getting the Suicide Squad to be art maimed. There’s Johnny Depp who took a makeup tattoo and used it to create his real-life ink. There’s Shia LaBeouf and his very committed film tattoo. We have the Lord Of The Rings cast getting an Elvish tat. There’s the tale of Ben Affleck and a certain back phoenix. Finally, there’s the 13 Reasons Why cast and crew getting a tattoo to help promote mental health awareness.
