Things Only Adults Notice In Cars

When it hit theaters in 2006, Pixar’s Cars marked another success for the animation studio. Following in the footsteps of some of Pixar’s most popular releases, Cars was well-received by both critics and audiences alike. It tells the story of Lightning McQueen, a hotshot rookie race car who inadvertently winds up in a small town and is forced to come to terms with his bad attitude.

Cars came out nearly two decades ago, which means its original core audience is now old enough to notice just how many things there are in the film that are meant more for adults than kids. These are things only adults notice in Cars.
