Times Star Wars Went Way Too Far

From films and television shows to books and video games — and everything in between — "Star Wars" is one of those timeless phenomena that permeates all facets of pop culture, much like The Force. But, while the long-running sci-fi series has dazzled millions of fans with jaw-dropping special effects, memorable characters, and epic tales of love, loss, betrayal, and galactic justice, it's also suffered its share of oopsies. Sure, most of the writing in the "Star Wars" universe is innocent enough, with stories that are strong enough to pull the ears off a gundark — but these moments? Well, these are times "Star Wars" went way too far.
