Seemingly unrelated movies that actually work perfectly as a trilogy

There is nothing quite like a Sunday morning movie marathon. You wake up in the mid-afternoon and put on your favorite movie franchise to just take a few hours out of the day. Honestly, if we could do that every day we would. There’s only one issue: there are only so many trilogies and franchises out there to watch. How many times can you watch Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings back-to-back? Maybe seven times, sure, but that’s no solution to the hours not spent watching it.

We have the solution. We scoured the internet and even put our own brainpower into a list dedicated to all the unofficial trilogies you need to watch. Maybe you remember a certain actor named Leonardo di Caprio talking about this idea? Don’t worry, his greed trilogy featuring Django Unchained and The Wolf of Wall Street made the list. We even got the “Where’s Matt Damon?” trilogy with The Martian and Saving Private Ryan into this one. Simply put, we hit all the fan favorites and then some.

We’ve got the Cornetto Trilogy and Beige Volvo Trilogy to send up Edgar Wright and Nic Cage, respectfully. There’s one called Gore Fest and Wes Craven’s Lessons in Horror. We have the AI Trilogy and Michael Lewis Book Deals to add flair. Plus, Revisionist Westerns that rocked the mid-2000s and Jim Carrey’s trip out of reality. It’s all here on the latest from ScreenRant. All you have to do is hit play and sit back to enjoy these unofficial trilogies!
