TV Series That Were Originally Planned As Only A Movie

Movies often change a lot during development: scenes can be rewritten, characters can be removed or recast, and in some cases, they can become television shows.

A film isn't converted into a series for no reason. Sometimes, there's just too much material to cover in a two-hour period. Other times, ideas are picked up by television networks who want to keep viewers coming back week after week. Regardless, as hard as it might be to imagine "Game of Thrones" or "Mr. Robot" on the silver screen, that's certainly how they started out. These TV shows were originally planned to be feature films.
