Many of the greatest TV shows ever created have been sitcoms. They’ve been able to encapsulate the social and political climate of their respective generations in funny and often timeless ways. Shows like M.A.S.H., The Cosby Show, and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air are remembered for not only what they had to say about the world, but also for launching their actors into superstardom.
