Why You Stopped Hearing From David Tennant

Though he's been acting on TV and in film since the late 1980s, Scottish actor David Tennant really hit the big time when he took over the role of the Doctor on Doctor Who in 2005. His Tenth Doctor stayed around until early 2010, and his version of the character remains one of the most beloved by fans. After that, we went on to play Kilgrave on Marvel's Jessica Jones, and he memorably played a detective on Broadchurch.

So where's he been since then? Well, he didn't exactly go away. He's continued performing, in crime dramas, low-key comedies, audio books and cartoons. And he's got some big upcoming projects, too. So no matter why you haven't heard from David Tennant in a while, it's not for lack of work on his part.
